Lady Doctor's Research Reveals That Women Are Horny Creatures Yes, that's right according to Dr. Paige Padgett of the University of Texas' School of Public Health, 1 in 3 women who date online get busy on the 1st date. Padgett's 2007 study was published the highly regarded journal, "Research & Social Policy, which is a journal affiliated with National Sexuality Research Center.

Dr. Padgett's research involved seven hundred forty (740) women who had put dating profiles online seeking men. The result of the study: Earthshattering!! Thirty-three percent (33%) of the women daters had sex on the 1st date. Even more shocking, seventy-seven percent (77%) of them didn't use a condom.

Virtual Intimacy Theory Dr. Padgett did not conclude that these women were sluts. Conversely, she found that women who would usually be careful did in fact participate in unprotected intercourse because they were lulled into a sense of virtual intimacy.

Dr. Padgett reasoned that the "virtual intimacy" was created by the disclosure and exchange of personal information through frequent e-mail and telephone calls. The women revealed information about their backgrounds, sexual preferences, and their likes and dislikes with the men they eventually slept with on their 1st date.

This Padgett says created the "virtual intimacy" a sense that a relationship might or might not exist but may encourage sexual intimacy at a faster rate than what would develop through conventional methods.

So What Does This Mean For Men? The essential message for guys: Begin Online Dating Today! It's less expensive than going to bars and clubs and you will have more success and have sex on 1st dates more often. But definitely use protection.

My Interpretation of Padgett & Her Study: She is overly Paternalistic in her conclusions. She paints women as prey and men as predators who trick women into feeling secure and fool women with so-called "virtual intimacy". BullShit!!

Let's Use A Little Common Sense To Distill The Padgett's Study. Give women the credit they deserve: They know what they want. Women are looking for attractive mates who meet their dating qualifications. They select one or more candidates from the innumerable men that email them. Lastly, they query the candidates to determine if the man in question meets their dating qualifications. If so, it's sexy time!

If you really examine what's going on here, you'll realize that it's the women pressing the fast forward button on the sexual relationship. The women in the study (and all online women daters) want to learn as much about a potential mate as possible, whether by email or over the phone before meeting face-to-face.

Why? To allow themselves to engage in sexual congress as soon as possible. Once a woman convinces herself that a man meets her criteria she will sleep with him. And in every case in Padgett's study, the women had already decided through email and telephone conversations that the particular man in question met her criteria or at least enough of the criteria to warrant sex!

Using Padgett's Study To Your Advantage. In sum, women love sex just as much as you do. However, the most important piece of information that I've learned from my online dating experiences which is supported by Padgett's research: Women need to convince themselves that you meet their dating criteria and that you are a Quality Guy.

Not understanding this fact leads many guys to shoot themselves in the foot. They wrongly believe that they need power, fame, or money to have success with women.
